About Shannon...
Shannon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers a holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy. She is dedicated to supporting individuals across the lifespan—including adolescents, young adults, and adults—as they navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and self-esteem.
Shannon has a particular passion for working with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD, autism, and sensory processing differences. She frequently supports adults who have received a late-in-life ADHD diagnosis, as well as high-functioning professionals and parents who are managing the complex demands of work, caregiving, and self-understanding. Shannon’s approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, rooted in a deep respect for each client’s nervous system, lived experience, and cultural background.
She integrates a wide range of therapeutic modalities to support each individual’s goals. Shannon is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She also incorporates mindfulness, breathwork, somatic practices, and expressive arts techniques to help clients build emotional regulation skills, deepen self-awareness, and reconnect with their inner resilience.
Whether through movement, creativity, or reflective dialogue, Shannon creates a warm, authentic, and nonjudgmental space where clients—especially those who often feel they "have it all together" on the outside—can feel safe, seen, and supported as they navigate meaningful personal growth.
