About Linnea...
Empowerment and collaboration guide my therapeutic work. I specialize in working with adults who are/suspect they may be Autistic and/or ADHD, or are navigating identity and values exploration during life transitions and times of change. I also work with adults experiencing OCD, disordered eating, trauma symptoms, anxiety, and depression.
I practice using a feminist framework and neurodivergent-affirming lens. In practice, this means I acknowledge the ways structures and systems perpetuate distress and create barriers to wellbeing and safety. I view my role as a therapist as helping clients to connect more deeply with themselves through a strengths-based, client-centered approach that honors lived experiences.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an essential part of healing, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore and embrace all parts of yourself. My approach to therapy is infused with a sense of humor and lightness, recognizing that while therapeutic work can be challenging, there is always room for moments of joy and laughter on the path to healing.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as I can. I feel most connected to my surroundings when running, biking, cross country skiing, and kayaking. I also keep my mind and hands active through reading, knitting, and drawing.
