Hilary is an MFT-IT whose style is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. She approaches therapy from a trauma-informed lens to understand her clients’ environmental, systemic, cultural and intergenerational context.
Hilary works with couples, adults, and teens who might be navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, childhood trauma, or feeling stuck. She uses an integrated mind-body approach to help clients build self-trust and self-compassion while exploring questions of identity and purpose. With couples she uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help them work through mistrust and communication issues in order to find alignment, connection, and joy. She has a particular interest in working with folks in the LGBTQ+ community and with anyone who is curious about taking the risk to explore and embrace their most authentic self.
Hilary earned her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University as well as a BA in Theatre and Communication from Northwestern University. Outside of therapy, she loves reading fiction, gardening, and exploring Madison with her wife and two dogs.
