About Dean...

Dean offers person-centered, compassionate, individualized support to adults and couples/partners who are looking to ease mental health symptoms, receive support from a neurodivergent-affirming lens (centering Autism, ADHD, c-PTSD, BPD), and process trauma. They find it meaningful to support survivors of sexual assault and childhood trauma in finding long term recovery, healing, growth, and authenticity. They are trained in EMDR therapy and accept clients for adjunctive EMDR (add them to your existing care team with other therapists). Some of their identities include being queer, non-binary, neurodivergent, and White.
Dean focuses on creating a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship where all parts of you are welcome to allow for authentic support tailored to you. Using trauma-focused, somatic, sex-positive, kink-affirming, and neurodivergent-affirming frameworks are all important to them. In practice, this looks like being offered choices, prioritizing your lived experience while sharing high-quality information, trying new ways of relating, and exploring your experiences of emotions, thoughts, and body sensations.
Dean intends to create a space that is uplifting of all parts of you and your experiences, particularly marginalized and oppressed aspects. They approach therapy with a goal of supporting you to feel strong, capable, and empowered, actively creating a life worth living.
Outside of therapy, Dean is dancing, creating art, sewing, and spending time outside.
